A Letter to Teachers
March 9, 2015
Dear teachers,
What you do is vital to the success of future generations and it is not unnoticed or unappreciated. Even though you don’t get paid as much as you should and you have to deal with the roller-coaster ride that is teenagers, you still do it, and that deserves recognition.
On behalf of the entire student body, I would like to thank you all for everything you do. From grading homework and tests to sponsoring extracurricular activities and coaching sports, you have played major roles in our lives. You teach us important things even when we don’t want to learn. You show us support and guidance when we need it. You see the potential in us even when we don’t see it in ourselves.
Although we students don’t always show our appreciation, what you do for us is invaluable. Not only do you teach us on an intellectual level, but also on a moral level. Continue educating us into functional, independent citizens. If we the students are the future, then you the teachers are shaping the future.
Keep on keepin’ on.
Juliane
