Journalism students hold hands in a team-bonding exercise called the human knot, which helped the class learn to work together to untangle themselves and improved their communication skills to help them in future class assignments.

Senior Jesse Outler performs an original poem at the 2015 annual Writers’ Walk event. At this event, students celebrate many past writers and poets and spend time listening to their classmates read poetry. Outler dressed up as poet Edgar Allan Poe, and spent the day educating fellow students of Poe’s life and writings.
