As a lifelong Lego enthusiast, the release of “The Lego Movie” excited me to no end. My expectations were high, especially when I discovered the massive list of stars who were included in the film. Huge names such as Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, and Will Ferrell piqued my interest.

Fortunately, I was not disappointed. Scene after scene of original and hilarious material kept me laughing throughout the entire movie. As long as you’re comfortable enough with your maturity to lower it a little bit for an obvious kids movie, you will undoubtedly enjoy yourself; especially if you were also a former Lego builder.

One sign of a good movie is it’s ability to call the viewer to action, and “The Lego Movie” succeeded in this category. From the moment I left the theater, I had a strong desire to immediately build a Lego creation. This urge hasn’t diminished even slightly, and I may be forced to purchase a Lego set this very afternoon; but I digress.

Waste no time to see this great film. A good, clean, original, and nostalgic time awaits you.
