Recently new recycling bins have been implemented and placed around the school. There’s ten bins all together. Two on the bridge, underneath times square, in the science hallway, near exits, and rotc rooms. They’re standup blue receptacles and are hard to miss. Environmental Ed classes have been supportive of the new recycling opportunities. Senior, Blake Peterson, also had a big impact on the new addition. She talked to Dr. Crain, and Crain agreed to put them in place. During lunch, teachers or particular environmental ed students will be passing out tickets to students using the new bins. If you receive a ticket, save it and numbers will be read at the end of the day. If your number is announced, you may receive a gift card amongst other prizes. Remember to put recyclable items in bins that are found throughout the school.
