Opening Day at the K 2014
The Kansas City Royals are set to open there first home stand of the 2014 regular season. Even though the Royals had an upsetting loss yesterday against the Detroit Tigers, they are looking forward to start off there home stand on a good start this Friday against the Chicago White Sox.
The Royals are projected to win 91 game this season. This should be enough wins to get them in the postseason. The Royals have not been in the playoffs since 1985, and that is the year when the Royals won the World Series beating there rivals the St. Louis Cardinals. This series will always be remembered by the infamous blown call, by Don Denkinger, in game six, that could have essentially sealed the series for the ‘Cards. Cardinal fans, to this day, will not let this go.
