It’s official! The date for next year’s Relay for Life is October 9! This is on a Thursday because we are out of of school on that Friday.

Last year’s Relay was more successful than any other Relay they have had at West. Our school raised $48,000 and had a total of 56 teams that participated. We also had about 50 survivors that came and walked the survivor lap.

Next year, we are trying to raise even more money and have even more teams that participate. But, we can’t do that without your help!

The Relay for Life kickoff is on May 8, 1:10-2:30 on the Bridge. Come and get information about being on a team or being team captain. You can also buy luminaria at the kickoff. The earlier you sign up, the earlier you can start fundraising.

Also, if you know any survivors, talk to them about walking in the survivor lap at the Relay. We would love to have them!

There will be more information about the Relay during this summer and next fall.
