2015 Prom is rapidly approaching!

For seniors it will be the last major event before graduation on May 19th.  This is first event that initiates the juniors into becoming the leaders of the school.

Prom will be at Union Station in downtown Kansas City, Missouri once again. Prom is organized by the FACS (Family and Consumer Science) teacher Jan Evans. It takes a lot of preparation into making prom perfect for all the students.

It is also a reminder that the school year is almost over. For seniors, there is a little less than a month left.

Prom is reserved for juniors and seniors of Shawnee Mission West. Although, they are able to invite underclassman it is strictly an upperclassman event. It affords students a break from all the young and immature children that they have to endure at WPA (Women Pay All) and Homecoming.

Prom will be from 7-11p. Crowning will be held at 10p, in which they will announce third, second, and first runner up to king and queen, along with our 2015 prom king and queen.
