Student Wins Congressional Student Art Competition
Senior Jessi Sailer has won this year’s Congressional Student Art Competition.
The Congressional Student Art Competition is a visual art competition sponsored by the Congressional Institute. Students submit entries to their representative’s office, and panels of district artists select the winning entries. The award is designed to recognize and encourage student’s artistic abilities. Sailer was recognized for the award in her district and will also be flown to Washington, DC to be recognized.
Sailer’s photograph will be displayed in Congress for one year.
